Meridienne Drake wins an Award

So excited. Today the results came out for The Beach Book Awards. I am so thrilled to get Honorable Mention. This is my very first book that I published and already it gets an award. YAY! YAY! YAY! *happy dancing* *jumping up and down* *doing the funky chicken* hehe

Okay. Settling down. The Winners, Runner-ups, and Honorable Mentions will be honored at a reception at the Grolier Club in New York on Friday, June 22.

I would have jumped on an airplane and gone in a second. Problem is my baby brother is getting married that same day. What. Are. The. Odds. Geesh! Baby Brother trumps. Hopefully, this won't be my last award.
